After training at the RSAMD, he built a celebrated stage career including roles at the Glasgow Citizens’ Theatre, Bristol Old Vic and the Edinburgh Festival.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHis association with Robert Burns began in 1965 with Tom Wright’s solo play \u003cem\u003eThere Was A Man\u003c\/em\u003e, which he performed in Edinburgh and London, later televised nationally and recorded for REL Records.
