About the Ebook

Meet wisecracking referee ‘Big Erchie’ as he faces match-fixing, assault charges and the wrath of fans. Should’ve Gone Tae Specsavers, Ref! is about those people who hate football but go along to games to ruin them for everyone else – the referees!

‘Right, that’s enough of your persistent fouling, my friend,’ Erchie said to the Aberdeen striker, ‘You’ve got yerself a red card.’
‘An’ you know what ye can dae wi’ yer card, ref. Ye can stick it where the sun don’t shine.’
‘Too late, son. There’s hunners up there already!’ retorted Erchie. ‘Aff!’

Interweaving humour with a history of football in Scotland and featuring teams from Scotland’s four divisions, this book is a must-read for every football fan.
