About the Ebook
Devil’s Knock finds Davie McCall fighting battles on every front. He carries a darkness inside him — a darkness born of trauma, sharpened by the streets, and impossible to outrun. It haunts him, but it also helps him do terrible things to those who threaten him and the people he cares about.
When Dickie Himes is murdered in a club owned by the Jarvis clan, Davie knows what’s coming: a gang war that will tear mid‑’90s Glasgow apart. The police are desperate to solve the crime, but in a city where justice can be bought, bent or buried, Davie realises he’ll need to take matters into his own hands.
As he navigates old enemies, a Hollywood actor who won’t leave him alone, a nameless scruffy dog and the ghosts of those he’s failed, Davie finds himself with a target on his back. The question is no longer whether he can avoid the darkness — but whether he can control it.
And when the devil knocks… will Davie answer?
