Wreckages of Trust – A Gripping Audio Drama of Betrayal and Reckoning

Performed and recorded at The Theatre Royal in Dumfries in 2024, Wreckages of Trust is a powerful drama exploring ambition, betrayal, and personal reckoning. Set against the backdrop of the 1970s property market, this immersive audio production brings to life the emotional struggles of its characters with striking realism.

In 1972, Leon, an apprentice bricklayer, enters the property development business with Jamie, a wealthy young man whose house Leon is working on. When the property market crashes, Jamie abandons their partnership, leaving Leon to face the consequences alone. Meanwhile, Leon falls in love with Sue, Jamie’s neighbour, only to lose her when she leaves for college. For years, Leon nurses a grievance about his treatment by Jamie and Sue—until Sue unexpectedly reaches out, forcing him to confront the truth about his own actions and the choices that shaped his life.
